Simple probability tells us there might be life out there! (THANKS Jerene for the night hangout too! Yes the prank was FAIL!)

Naked pooh bear at the senior citizen's gym corner.

And we saw a millipede

Nice hangout!

We live on earth.

Our earth resides in the solar system, with ONE SUN (STAR).

And there are many solar systems together with their respective suns (stars). The number of stars in an average galaxy - hundreds of billions in each galaxy. Lets just say there are 100,000,000,000 stars per galaxy.

And there are an estimated 50 billion galaxies visible to modern telescopes. The total number in the universe exceeds this number. If we double 50 million, that's 100,000,000,000 galaxies in the universe. (rough estimate). So 100,000,000,000 stars in 100,000,000,000 galaxies. That's 10 thousand, billion, billion OR 10 sextillion stars in our universe. And that's a very rough estimate.

So there are 10 sextillion stars in our universe. If there's JUST ONE planet orbiting around each star, there are 10 sextillion planets in our universe.

And let's say it's very rare for a planet to support life. Let's say ONE PLANET IN A MILLION PLANETS is capable of supporting life.

That's 10,000,000,000 planets in the universe that are capable of producing life. Ten billion!!!

There is a high chance there's life in other planets in other galaxies, or even in our own galaxy!
