Merry Christmas!

The many faces of thecitymadcat wish you a Merry Christmas OR Merry Yuletide! Oh and a very happy new year.

Last night had an EVE OF CHRISTMAS EVE sort of party. Drinking RESPONSIBLY and well, having fun talk. Haha!

Food for thought - Did you know that Christmas was originally Yuletide? Yuletide was a winter festival celebrated by Europeans (mainly Germanic tribes)

When the Crusaders took over Europe, Christmas replaced Yuletide, but its traditions like decorating the tree, hanging up evergreens, eating the log cake and exchanging gifts are still being practiced!

How cool is that!

Once again, MERRY CHRISTMAS/YULETIDE!
