If I had a son.

If I had a son,

I would come home and kiss his face every night when he is still a little baby.

If I had a son,

I would delight when he babbles "Papa" and walks on his feet for the very first time.

If I had a son,

I would send him to the best nursery school, primary school and volunteer or do any imaginable thing to get him into ACS(I).

If I had a son,

I think I would cry when I see him attend school for the first time. He is on his way to a lifetime of growing and learning! How exciting.

If I had a son,

I would encourage him to have an open relationship with me and tell me abouthis new girlfriend, his new clique of friends or his CCA.

If I had a son,

I would inform him about sex, masturbation and pornography when he reaches puberty. I would let him know that it is normal to be "sexually curious" as a human being, but would caution him about addiction.

If I had a son,

I would send him into the world to have a taste of what it is like, and not overprotect him. The best way to learn is to learn it himself.

If I had a son,

I would want him to take up the best disciplines in the university but leave the choice to him, because it is his life and his choice to make.

If I had a son,

I would want to spend my weekends with him, going to the beach, cycling, talking. But I know as he grows older, his weekends would be spent with his friends.

If I had a son,

I would do the best I can for his birthdays, to give him the best and to let him know that he is very loved and deeply treasured.

If only I had a son,

and to see an exact replica of me, but with a different twist, that would be so immensely delightful!
